To Whom It Concern,

My experience with Interactive Care Agency has been excellent. I recently hired this agency for 24 hour care for my father during his stay at a health care center in Saratoga. I was desperate to find care immediately and they were able to accommodate my needs. The employees were on time and very respectful of my wishes as well as my father’s demands. The employees were required to stay awake with the patient all night if necessary and they for filled that requirement. The owner Melvin was very responsive to my phone calls and got back to me immediately. Melvin is an extremely personable hard working man with a very kind heart. I highly recommend Interactive Care Agency for any wellbeing service you may require. Please feel free to contact me for further information.

Dear Melvin,

I just wanted to write to thank you so very much for all the caring support you provided to our family over the past year and a half. You and Dolly are wonderful. You have a way of putting people at ease and handling things as though you were dealing with your own family. You went above and beyond the call of duty many times and we so appreciate it! Additionally, you have managed to find care takers to work for you who are just as wonderful! Not only do they arrive on time and do their job well and efficiently, they are all warm, caring people who treat their patients with dignity.

My in laws were very hesitant to have people caring for them in their own home. They saw it as an invasion of privacy and autonomy, but soon they came to genuinely love the both of you and your staff. There were actually times, as you know, when my father in law wouldn’t smile for anyone except Dolly. His face would light up when he saw her! That’s really saying something!

The other thing I was struck by was that some of your staff took initiative to do things that weren’t asked of them. They saw something that needed to be done and they just did it. In the final days, as my father in law was dying, they seemed to just sense when to “appear” and when to “disappear”, another great quality for care-givers; the sensitivity to know when to allow for private moments.
Given that a family’s realization that care-givers are needed is a difficult time for all involved, it is important to have the process go as smoothly as possible. Finding people who genuinely care and can be trusted is key to feeling secure with the whole situation. You and your staff provided us with the security of knowing that our loved ones were being tended to in the best way possible.

Again, with lots of warmth and sincerity, thanks to you and everyone who was involved in my father-in-law’s care.
